Nature Camp with Chloe Hohmann


Nature is all around us! We will explore the nature around Tiverton Four Corners. What kind of plant life/wildlife do we see? What artists have made art a part of nature or art about nature? We will also look at Four Corners Sculpture Park and discuss what excites us about seeing art in nature. We will create outdoor installations, a collaborative mural, as well as other nature themed projects.

$60 per camper - all materials included

All students are to arrive at camp at the Arts Center, 3852 Main Road, we are located around back where the white doors are, to check in with the camp instructors at 9am. Students will gather inside the Arts Center until everyone has arrived and then will be begin their day.

Please let instructors know if someone other then yourself or the emergency contact that you provided will be picking up your child.

Please provide a nut free snack and a water bottle for your child to enjoy. Please label with name.

If you have children art smocks at home bring them along with you, we will have a few extra but not enough for everyone.

Please put sunscreen on your children before they arrive to camp. We will not be appling sunscreen to them. They will be outside on the ground of the property so sun hats are welcome as well. Please provide bug spray labeled with camper’s name.


Art & Local History with Chloe Hohmann

In the morning we will explore the architecture, history, and landscape of Tiverton Four Corners. We will go in to established buildings to observe the unique architecture, as a class we will walk around and discuss what we see. We will talk about the history of these buildings and what makes them so special. In the afternoon we will have studio art time. We will take what have learned and gear it towards our art making. Campers will need a nut free lunch & snack as well as a water bottle.

More about Chloe:


Chloe Hohmann is primarily an Artist Educator. She studied Art Education at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, graduating with a BFA in 2014. She is a certified Elementary Art Teacher in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Chloe creates internet collages as well as multimedia colleges that mostly discuss male masculinity and gender roles. Chloe has also explore figure painting, ceramics, and film photography. Chloe is from New Jersey but currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
